Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a well-known supporter of cryptocurrency, recently revealed he was behind a bizarre stunt from a decade ago. He admitted in a video on August 4 that he once left a dead bear in Central Park, New York City, alongside an old bicycle. This stunt made national headlines at the time.
Kennedy Jr. explained to actress Roseanne Barr that he didn’t kill the bear; it was already dead after being hit by a vehicle. He had planned to use the bear for its meat, which is allowed for roadkill in New York State. However, after a long day of hunting and a dinner in the city, he decided to leave the bear in Central Park, making it look like the bear had been hit by a bicycle. At the time, there had been a series of cyclist accidents in the city.
The next day, the bear and bicycle setup was featured on every major news outlet. Kennedy Jr. said the story eventually faded from the headlines and remained a forgotten oddity for years.

This strange episode adds to the list of unusual stories about Kennedy Jr., who has also claimed that a worm once ate part of his brain. Despite his eccentricities, he has big plans for cryptocurrency if elected president. He’s proposed that the Treasury Department buy 500 Bitcoin daily until the U.S. reserve reaches four million coins.
Currently, Kennedy Jr. trails behind other candidates in the polls, with only 5.4% support, while Kamala Harris leads with 45.3% and Donald Trump is at 43.7%.
